Pöyry Engineering Oy serves the forest and chemical industries, and equipment and technology suppliers in the implementation of investment projects, rebuilds and transfers of production plants. Pöyry Engineering also assists clients in meeting authorities' requirements, in permitting and in operations improvement.
The Joutseno office specialises in forest industry investment projects and assists local industry in operations management and maintenance. There are separate mechanical and automation engineering sections. Special skills include pipeline and steel structure strength calculations and design calculations for power networks.
The Joutseno office has a staff of 30.
